So I have been “that person” since my junior high days.
You know, the one who brought a camera everywhere and took pictures of everything. I’ve always had a passion for capturing the moment, even when I was just buying disposable cameras from the grocery store. While in college I took a course in digital photography and fell in love with the art of photography. As they say, the rest is history. With the birth of my first daughter my passion for all things photography was renewed, and now I'm so grateful to be able to use something I love to bless the lives of others.
I. Adore. Seniors.
It didn't take more than a couple of senior sessions to realize that I have a real passion for working with my senior clients. Senior year is a time filled with so many contradictions - both excitement and nostalgia, confidence and vulnerability, hope and even a touch of sadness - it can be overwhelming to say the least. I find immense satisfaction in helping my clients leave all of that behind for a couple of hours, and then really capturing their heart and soul with my camera. For me, there is no greater joy than making a client feel beautiful {or handsome!} in their own skin. I would love the opportunity to do the same for you!
Everything else you (n)ever wanted to know about me ...
I live in Dallas with my wonderful husband Ross and my precious daughters Emory and Finley, for whom I thank God every day. I’m an alumnus of J.J. Pearce High School in Richardson and Trinity University in San Antonio.
LIKES: sports (especially soccer), movies, hot chocolate, Blue Bell ice cream, family game nights, Dr Pepper, scaring my kids, Emporium pie, singing loudly in the car, thunderstorms, travel and the great state of Texas
DISLIKES: waking up early, coffee, onions, cold weather (unless it's snowing), laundry, being scared by my kids and missing previews at the movies
