This is my fourth annual Project Beauty shoot, and it is still hands down my favorite shoot of the year. Our shoot happened back in August and, as usual, I asked the girls to come in with NO makeup so that we could capture each girl's God-given natural beauty. Due to COVID we were unable to take group photos, so instead, we invited some friends to join us and took the opportunity to reflect and celebrate the wonderful diversity of our community and the fact that we are all beautiful in our own unique ways.
I'm so thankful to each and every Project Beauty participant - I know how difficult it can be to put yourself out there in this way. You are all stunning and precious just the way you are, and most importantly, your inner beauty is just as bright as your outer beauty. Keep letting your lights shine!

"There's beauty in every skin tone, every shade, every body type, every scar, and freckle. Every variation that we have even if it goes against society. I just wish there was some way to explain this to the girls that have already grown up with this pressure on their back to be something that's not even obtainable. In the last month, I've literally had conversations with girls my age about body and beauty standards and how we're so tired of conforming to the rules.
